Kade King
Three cafes. One mission. Coffee without compromise, pulled the first espresso in Traralgon at 22, still here.
Built by a bloke who brought Melbourne coffee to Gippsland.
Kade King opened his first cafe in the Latrobe Valley at 26. Three Little Birds. Then Bodhi Specialty Coffee. Each one raised the bar for what regional coffee could be.
Finally Mine is the next chapter. A corner venue with pothos vines on the ceiling, mottled green tiles, a custom Synesso MVP Hydra, and Five Senses Crompton Road in the hopper. It opens at 5:30am and doesn't stop.
Thursday to Saturday, the espresso machine makes way for local wines on repurposed barrel tables, cocktails, and cold beer. Same corner. Same people. Different energy.
In 2026 the team grew. Chef Lee Ruane joined as Head Chef and partner. A Traralgon local with Melbourne fine-dining pedigree, six years as Head Chef at Three Little Birds, and the OSCARS Recognition of Excellence for his work in aged-care hospitality at Yallambee. His wife Laura joined with him, bringing a people-first, detail-driven backbone from her career in the medical industry.

People-first. Brings medical-industry precision to the coffee house. If it runs on time, thank Laura.

Specialty coffee, served properly, every shift. Rotating single origins down pat.
Temperature-controlled per group head. Dialled individually for each coffee we pull. Custom colour because the tiles deserved a partner.

Close the doors, dim the lights, put the Synesso to work for a crowd that's yours. Birthdays, engagements, launches, wakes, long lunches, end-of-financial-year. If it matters, it happens here.
Dietary needs, allergies, a great barista on the morning shift, a not-so-great coffee, we read every one. Drop us a line.
"Best specialty coffee outside Melbourne."
Best coffee in Traralgon, hands down. The Yin + Yang is incredible. Kade and the team know what they're doing.
Love the vibe of this place. Opens early, great food, and the bar nights on weekends are a game-changer for Traralgon.
Corner spot with those bi-fold windows open and the sun coming in. Beautiful room. Warm hug in coffee form.

Welcoming Chef Lee and Laura as new business partners, and what comes next for the corner.
